Paul Wilson has translated many works by Václav Havel, including his seminal essay, “The Power of the Powerless”; his prison correspondence, Letters to Olga; two autobiographical books, Disturbing the Peace and To the Castle and Back; and many of his presidential speeches and occasional essays. In addition to Leaving and The Memo, he has translated Havel's The Beggar’s Opera and Guardian Angel. Paul Wilson is based in Toronto.
